GaN technology

GaN stands for gallium nitride, which is an alternative to silicon semiconductors. The beauty of GaN technology is that semiconductors made from this material, compared to silicon, can handle much higher frequencies and have incomparably higher efficiency, which eliminates overheating and, therefore, the size of products can be significantly reduced.
