The Goobay SATA/IDE adapter is a practical tool that allows you to connect internal hard drives or SSDs to your computer's USB port seamlessly and without complicated setup. The adapter allows you to read or back up data directly from 2.5" and 3.5" SATA or IDE (EIDE) devices - useful if you need to retrieve the contents of an old hard drive or transfer data quickly.
- USB 3.0 connection – up to approximately 5 Gb/s data transfer rate, meaning fast file transfers (backward compatible with USB 2.0/1.1)
- Compatible with SATA and IDE hard drives – supports both 2.5" and 3.5" SATA HDD/SSDs as well as 44-pin/40-pin IDE HDDs
- Plug-and-play – no drivers required, just connect the drive and USB adapter and the computer will recognize the device itself
- Power adapter included – the 12 V power supply included with the adapter also provides power to larger 3.5" hard drives
