Fomabrom N chamois is a black and white photographic paper produced on the baryta paper base in a retro tone. The chlorobromide silver emulsion gives the resulting silver image a neutral to slightly warm tone. The paper enables reproduction of a very rich halftone scale and is characterized by a saturated black rendering. It has a medium level of optical sensitivity, which is suitable for application of enlargement and contact copying methods.
This new type of the paper with fixed gradation (FG) is intended primarily for visually more stylized artistic photography and various photographic concepts, motifs, genres (portrait, still life, landscape, abstraction, etc.), styles, conceptions and the like.
Fomabrom N chamois is produced on a fibre base (DW), with glossy (141) surface in one gradation - normal (N).
