The Sony ECM-GZ1M is a compact gun zoom microphone designed specifically for Sony cameras that use the Sony Multi Interface Shoe connection.
Simple operation
In the zoom position, the audio range is automatically adjusted based on how far your lens is zoomed in*. In gun mode you can aim the microphone exactly at the subject and only the sound from the source is recorded. The included windscreen ensures that disturbing ambient noises such as the wind or people talking are minimized when you are recording outdoors or on location.
